Keerom – Javanewsonline.co.id | Polres Keerom memberikan respons cepat terhadap kebakaran yang terjadi di kediaman Kepala Kampung Wonorejo, Matheus Wey, Distrik Mannem, Kabupaten Keerom, pada Minggu (31/3).
Kepala Satuan Samapta Polres Keerom, AKP Sandry L.M Hutabarat, memimpin tim yang turut serta dalam penanganan kebakaran tersebut. Hadir dalam kegiatan tersebut adalah Kaur Bin Ops Intelkam Polres Keerom, Ipda Eliezer James Waromi, SH PS Kasubsiluhkum Sikum Polres Keerom, Aiptu Seprianus Tandi Rassing SH, serta Personil Piket Siaga Peleton 3 Polres Keerom.
Menurut Kapolres Keerom, AKBP Christian Aer SH SIK melalui AKP Sandry LM Hutabarat, pihaknya segera merespons laporan dari masyarakat untuk membantu memadamkan api dan melakukan pendataan di TKP kebakaran.
“Kami bergerak cepat dengan membawa satu Unit Water Canon untuk membantu pemadaman api. Kerjasama yang baik antara Polres Keerom, Satgas Yonif 122/TS, Damkar Kabupaten Keerom, dan warga sangat membantu dalam penanganan kebakaran ini, sehingga tidak ada korban jiwa,” ungkap AKP Sandry LM Hutabarat.
Dari hasil penyelidikan awal, api diduga berasal dari gudang tempat penyimpanan minyak tanah yang diduga terjadi karena korsleting listrik. Kerugian materil yang dialami pemilik rumah belum dapat dipastikan secara keseluruhan, namun termasuk satu unit rumah beserta isinya, satu unit mobil bantuan Bupati jenis Hilux Single Cabine, dua unit sepeda motor jenis Honda GL Max dan Yamaha Mio Soul, serta uang tunai sebesar Rp 49.000.000.
“Kami menghimbau kepada masyarakat untuk selalu berhati-hati dan mengetahui penyebab sering terjadinya kebakaran rumah, seperti kelalaian penghuni, arus pendek listrik, kompor meledak, serta penempatan benda-benda mudah terbakar yang tidak tepat,” tutupnya. (PAM)
